CT Police Officers Reprimanded for Anti-Obama Email Campaign

5 police officers in the town of Avon, CT were reprimanded for sending anti-Obama emails from their work email account. The email was received by one of the officers on his home computer. He forwarded it to his work address and sent it to fellow officers, who then forwarded it on to others. The email quoted parts of Obama’s books and questioned his loyalties and his fitness to be president.
“Their distribution of this email, our investigation has concluded, was political,” said Mark Rinaldo, Avon’s Police Chief. “It was not racial.”
The town is now revamping their email and internet use policies.
